Castell Cidwm Lakeside House offers high quality accommodation in the heart of the stunning Snowdonia National Park. There are three separate residences on site that can cater for a variety of groups from 4 to 26. They can be rented individually or collectively depending on your needs.
Castell Cidwm House
The beautiful 19th century period house offers picture postcard accommodation for up to 16 people. Originally built as the fishing lodge for the Marquis of Anglesey, the main house boasts many fine period pieces, including the original wood panelling from the 1920s in some of the bedrooms. Speaking of the bedrooms, all are very generously sized and have stunning views of either the lake or surrounding Snowdonia mountains. Take a look at our bedrooms in the gallery.

Castell Cidwm Cottage
The self-contained period cottage offers
holiday accommodation for up to 4 people. It has 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 singles),
shower room, sauna and a practical kitchen/dinner/lounge. The cottage offers

Castell Cidwm Mobile Home
Providing rental accommodation for up to 6 people, the mobile home has 2 bedrooms, shower, compact kitchen and a bedroom/dinner. It also boasts stunning views of both the lake and countryside. Book the mobile home
Ensuring that you have the most trouble free and enjoyable stay possible, the Castell Cidwm estate also provides a number of shared facilities:
- Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, freezer, BBQ's and video library are available to all 3 properties in a separate outbuilding.
- Shared washing and drying facilities are available at a small charge. One well behaved dog is welcome but must not go in the bedrooms or on the furniture or be left alone in any of the properties. Please have respect for other people sharing the grounds. No fouling.
- Smokers are welcome but no smoking inside any of the properties and throw away the tabs with care and consideration for the environment and other people.
- Please note that due to the location there is no reception for TV or most mobile phones!!
- Each property has its own allocated private 'garden' area but some parts / car park are shared.
